This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This Policy applies to users located in Canada, excluding Quebec.

Lease Buddies is not a real estate agent, broker, property manager, or intermediary, and does not act on behalf of any user.


3. Platform Scope

Lease Buddies does not generate lease agreements, store signed leases, provide legal advice, conduct screenings, or participate in rental decisions.


All legal and contractual responsibilities remain solely between tenants and landlords.


4. User Communications

Users may voluntarily communicate and share information through the Platform.


Lease Buddies does not review, verify, or control information shared between users and is not responsible for its accuracy or legality.


5. Fees

Tenants do not pay to use leasebuddies. Landlords may be charged a listing fee when paid features are introduced.


Payment processing, when applicable, will be handled by third-party providers.


6. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws and for conducting their own due diligence throughout the rental process.


7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software associated with leasebuddies are the property of Lease Buddies Inc.


8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lease Buddies Inc. shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the Platform or user interactions.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Quebec is excluded.
